    PASCO - The governor's newest round of force shutdown mandates may not expire until Dec. 14, but it won't halt a weeklong scavenger hunt from taking place. The city Parks and Recreation Department's Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt will run from Dec. 7-11 city wide. Officials will post clues at about 6:30 a.m. daily on a varity of social media pages.     PASCO - Chiawana High School students have a bit more in their financial coffers, thanks to a local company. Huesitos Landscaping hosted a fall sprinkler blowout fundraiser in conjuction with the school's PEAK Partners! program. This week, the company presented an $806 check to the high school.     PASCO — A local man was taken into mental health custody this morning, Friday, Dec. 4, after being arrested for ripping a natural gas line out of a building. According to police, officers were called to the veterinary complex on Sandifur Parkway at about 7:40 a.m. and found a man ripping out a natural gas line. The complex includes Mid Columbia Pet Emergency, Animal Eye Care and Pet Medical of Pasco.     PASCO —A local man was booked into the Franklin County Jail on Thursday, Dec. 3, on multiple charges. According to jail records, Carlos David Pimentel Estrada was being held for a minimum of 72 hours for fourth-degree assault-domestic violence, destruction of property-domestic violence and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.
