James "Jim" H. Person, 94, of Mesa, died June 25, 2020. Jim was born Sept. 24, 1925, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to John and Gladys Person. The oldest of their four chiildren, he grew up on a ranch near Peyton, Colo. Jim joined the U.S. Army in 1945 at the end of World War II. RICHLAND — A Pasco teenager was transported to a regional hospital following a 5:59 p.m. crash on state Highway 240. According to the Washington State Patrol, Yana V. Derevyanchuk, 19, of Pasco, was hospitalized after she rear-ended another vehicle. Another Pasco woman, Racqueline R. Gonzalez, 23, was the driver of the second vehicle, the patrol reported.
