Broncos come up short in Pasco

PASCO – The undefeated Tri-Cities Prep boys basketball team knocked off visiting Lind-Ritzville/Sprague, 54-35, during a Class 2B game Thursday night, Dec. 21.

Joey Duff led all scorers with 20 points for the Broncos in their losing effort. Blake McClure led the Jaguars (8-0) with 19 points.

The Jaguars captured the momentum early, running up a 20-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.

It was a lead the Broncos were unable to overcome as the Jaguars added 6 points to the margin in the second quarter and 2 more in the third.

The Jaguars took a 34-18 lead into halftime.

In the final quarter, both teams scored 6 points.

Others scoring for the Broncos included Brock Kinch with 5 points, Bridger Moore with 4 and Zach Klein and Lance Williamson with 3 each.
