National Night Out set for Basin City

BASIN CITY — Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will host its 40th Annual National Night Out at Memorial Park from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1.

National Night Out is a free community-building event with a family barbeque, a bouncy house and obstacle course, raffles and prizes, as well as music and entertainment.

Sheriff Jim Raymond and his staff will be there to connect with residents, he said.

“Together, we are making communities safer and more caring places to live,” he said in a press release.
