Sprint boat crews line up in the launch pool for a little tuning prior to the start of Saturday's races at Webb's Slough.

ST. JOHN – Here are the results of the final sprint boat race of the season Saturday, Aug. 27, at Webb's Slough:

An island hopper – similar to a course marshal -- removes a soaking wet mouse from the race site.

Modified Class – Pour Decisions, driver Jason Perkins of Cheney and navigator Kyle Belles of Spangle, 1st; Purcell Racing, driver James Goldberg of Edmonds and navigator Jeff Purcell of Grapeview, 2nd; and Way She Goes, driver Jeremy Souza and navigator Jessy Law, both of Oak Harbor, 3rd.

400 Class – Punisher, driver Phil Miller of Castlegar, B.C. and navigator Amy Thomasson of Anacortes, 1st; Preventing Insanity, driver Leighton Lille and navigator Cody Holzer, both of Lewiston, Idaho, 2nd; and Jolly Rogers (No. 146A), driver Eric Werner of Arlington and navigator Tina Huff of Renton, 3rd.

Unlimited Class – Ballz Out, driver Dean Lautenschlager and navigator Jack Bringman, both of Lewiston, Idaho, 1st; Obession, driver Robert Cox of Hayden, Idaho, and navigator Ali Krupp of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, 2nd; and Grumpy Old Buzzard, driver Lee Rice of Caldwell, Idaho, and navigator Michelle Heindel of Boise, Idaho, 3rd.
