Ballots mailed last week

Would-be voters still have time to register

PASCO — Ballots in the Nov. 2 general election were mailed to registered voters last Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Anyone who is not currently registered to vote in the state can register online at or by mail until Monday, Oct. 25th or in person until Tuesday, Nov. 2 at the Franklin County Auditor’s Office, 1016 N. Fourth Ave., Auditor Matt Beaton said.

For those wishing to register in person, the office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thorugh Friday. On Election Day, the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., he said.

Ballots may be returned to drop boxes listed on ballot-return envelopes, he said. They may also be returned via U.S. Postal Service.

Mailed ballots should be submitted a week prior to the election to give postal office workers time to postmark the envelope, he said.
