Elections officials to conduct a logic and accuracy test

PASCO — The Franklin County Auditor's Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of election tabulating equipment at 2 p.m. Oct. 12 in the Franklin County Election Center, 116 N 3rd Ave.

The test is required under Revised Code of Washington 29A.12.130, and Washington Administrative Code Nos. 434-335-300 and 434-335-310

The purpose is to validate ballot tabulating equipment for the Nov. 2 General Election, officials said.

The logic and accuracy test is open to political parties, candidates, the press and the public.
