PASCO — A special filing period will be open Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 10-12, for various elective offices in Franklin County that did not draw a candidate in the primary election.
Filing is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each of the three days online at http://www.co.franklin.wa.us/elections or in-person at the Franklin County Auditor's Office Election Department, 1016 N. Fourth Ave.
Candidates are being sought for the following positions:
Franklin County Fire Protection District No. 2 — Commissioner Position No. 2, at-large
Franklin County Fire Protection District No. 5 — Commissioner Position Nos. 1,2 and 3, all at-large
Mesa — City Council Position No. 4, at-large
