Pasco man involved in three-vehicle crash

BENTON CITY — A Pasco man was not injured in a three-vehicle crash early Friday morning, Aug. 6.

Pedro Farias Cisneros, 38, of Pasco, was the third driver in the 5:48 a.m. pileup on state Highway 225 at Abby Avenue.

The crash occurred when Dennis Travis, 33, of Richland crossed the centerline in his southbound 2002 Mazda RX-5, the Washington State Patrol reported. His vehicle was struck by two northbound vehicles.

The first vehicle was a 2019 Navistar MV tractor driven by Stephanie R. Fuston, 26 of Richland, the patrol said. The second was Cisneros' 2013 Ford F250 pickup.

Neither Fuston nor Cisneros were injured, the patrol reported, noting the cause of the crash was fatigue.

Travis was cited for second-degree negligent driving, the patrol reported.

All three drivers were wearing seatbelts and neither drugs nor alcohol were factors, the patrol reported.
