Republicans endorse five candidates

PASCO — Franklin County Republicans have released their endorsements for the primary election.

The party has endorsed:

Pasco City Council — Nikki Torres for District No. 3, Position No. 3; and Pete Serrano for District No. 4, Position No. 4.

Pasco School Board — Steve Christensen for Position No. 1, Steve Simmons for Position No. 4 and Amy Phillips for Position No. 5.

The primary election is currently underway.

Franklin County mailed voter pamphlets to all homes in election districts last week. Ballots were mailed to registered voters.

Ballots must be returned on or before Aug. 3 to be counted.
