Child injured in rollover wreck on I-182 Sunday

PASCO – A Kennewick child was injured Sunday afternoon when the car he was riding crashed at the exit from Interstate 182 to State Route 395.

John M. Najera, 27, of Kennewick, was driving a 1995 grey Toyota Tacoma east when the pickup left the road in the curve of the exit, according to the Washington State Patrol. The pickup rolled sideways and was totaled.

The state patrol accused Najera of driving under the influence.

He was taken to Trios Health along with a 12-year-old male passenger for their injuries.
