Pasco police search for suspect

Robert Frost Elementary School voluntarily locks down

PASCO — Robert Frost Elementary School reamins in voluntary lockdown this afternoon as police continue searching for a suspect in a property crime.

According to police, officers have surrounded an aparatment building, trying to coax a potential suspect out of a building in the 2300 block of West Jay Street.

The school is located at 1915 N. 22nd Ave.

"At this time, we do not believe there is a threat to the safety of residents in the area, but if you can avoid the area, we recommend that you do so," police said on social media. "We will provide updates as we develop more info."

Details of the property crimes case have yet to be released.
