BENTON CITY — A Pasco man was taken to a Richland hospital after an early morning crash today, Nov. 30, on state Highway 240, also known as the "Hanford Highway."

Kyle A. Nation, 38, was westbound in his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he lost control of his vehicle at about 6:19 a.m., the Washington State Patrol reported.

Nation overcorrected on the icy roadway and his vehicle overturned near Milepost 17, the patrol said.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt; neither drugs nor alcohol were factors, the patrol said.

The cause of the crash was speed too fast for conditions, the patrol said.

RAD Towing West towed the vehicle from the crash site, the patrol said.
