Franklin Connection 

Free WiFi hotspots set up in Franklin County

PASCO — Franklin Public Utility District and Mid-Columbia Libraries have teamed up to offer free WiFi Internet hotspots around the county.

The service is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily in parking lots and sidewalks near buildings housing the hotspots.

A password is not required, officials said.

Here are the locations the service is available:

Basin City

Basin City branch library, 450-A N. Canal Blvd. Network name is FBB_PublicWiFI_BC

Connell

Connell branch libary, 118 N. Columbia Ave., Network name is FBB_PublicWiFi_Connell.227

Connell Community Center, 211 E. Elm St. Network name is PUD_Connell_Public_WIFi

Eltopia

Merrill's Corner, 5240 Eltopia West. Network name is FBB_PublicWiFi_Merrills.226

Kahlotus

Kahlotus branch library, 225 E. Weston St. Network name is PUD_Public_WiFi

Municipal pool, service is at the intersection of Durham Avenue and West Martin Street. Network name is PUD_Public_WiFi

Mesa

Bailie Land and Cattle Co., 205 First Ave. Network name is PUD_Mesa_Public_WiFi

Pasco

Pasco library, 1320 W. Hopkins St. Network name is FBB_Public_WiFi. The service works on the south side of the building only.

Memorial Park, 350 N. 14th Ave. Network name is FBB_Public_WiFi.

Pasco Farmers Market, 101 S. Fourth Ave., Network name is Free_Downtown_WiFi
