Lane change leads to injury

PASCO — An improper lane change Wednesday, Aug. 19, lead to a local woman being hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 182.
Maria D. Ramirez DelaMora, 62, was taken to a local hospital after her 2011 Mercedes was struck by a tractor-trailer at about 2:10 p.m., the Washington State Patrol reported.
The crash occurred when truck driver Jeremy C. Larsen, 38, of Morgan, Utah, attempted to change lanes in his 2020 Peterbuilt truck and trailer, striking DelaMora's car, the patrol said.
Larsen was not injured.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and neither drugs nor alcohol were factors, the patrol reported.
Larsen was cited for improper lane change.
