Franklin Connection - Serving Franklin County, WA

PASCO — Mid-Columbia Libraries are offering curbside pickup from its locations and Bookmobile.

The new service was announced Aug. 7.

In Franklin County, curbside pickup is available in Basin City, Connell, Kahlotus, Pasco and West Pasco.

Books, videos and other items available for checkout can be reserved for pickup by county residents. The library system will notify patrons when materials are ready.

“We have been looking forward to this news, and are working diligently behind the scenes to offer this service as soon as possible,” Executive Director and Chief Librarian Kyle Cox said in a press release. “We will announce individual branch opening dates as they are confirmed. We look forward to serving our valued communities!”

All items are quarantined for 96 hours after return before being approved for the next checkout.
