Fall Festival canceled

CONNELL — The Fall Festival Committe has canceled the 2020 event due to the continued coronavirus shutdown in Franklin County.

The county remains in a "modified Phase 1" or reopening, under Gov. Jay Inslee's orders.

Community festivals are not allowed until Phase 4, under the orders.

In addition, under new quarantine orders issued last week, entertainment is prohibited statewide and gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited.

Here in Franklin County, gatherings are restricted to five people, under Phase 1.
