DUI arrestee bites Pasco officer

PASCO — A local woman arrested for driving while under the influence bit a police officer Tuesday, July 14.

Ann Bechtol, 34, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. for her alleged drunken driving, records show. She was also cited for failure to stop when police attempted to pull her over.

According to a report, Bechtol drove laps around a neighborhood of the city when police attempted to pull her over.

After her arrest, she slipped out of handcuffs and bit an officer trying to re-cuff her, records show.
