Jaguar harrier St. Hilaire wins boys state B title

Ciaran St. Hilaire, a junior at Tri-Cities Prepatory, won the state B boys cross country title, finishing the 5,000-meter course in 16:27.4.

PASCO - A local boy won a state B cross country title Saturday, Nov. 5, at Sun Willows Golf Course.

Ciaran St. Hilaire, a junior at Tri-Cities Prepatory, took gold in the boys division, finishing the 5,000-meter course in 16:27.4.

He was among Jaguar runners that included freshmen Paul Beery and Brenden Bohrmann; sophomores Aidric Muzatko and Josh Nolan; juniors, Tyler Baerlocher, Patrick Kovis and Brian Sweeney; and senio Gabriel Bohrmann.

Overall, the boys team finished 13th with 315 points; Jenkins (Chewelah) won the boys team title with a low of 83 points.

Other Jaguar times include Sweeney, 19:36.5; Muzatko, 21:02.9; Kovis, 21:08.0; Gabriel Bohrmann, 21:56.0; Brenden Bohrmann, 22:03.09 and Baerlocher, 22:51.4.

In the girls division, three Tri-Cities Prep runners were on the course, senior ingird Carlson, junior Samantha Quintana and sophomore Fionnoula St. Hilaire.


Fionnoula St. Hilaire posted the fastest local time, 22:52.6, good enough for 23rd place.

Quintana's time was 23:26.8 and Carlson finished in 24:23.2.
