Pasco School district to launch 'Read and Rise'

PASCO — The School District is launching a five-week educational series Sept. 28 designed to help families overcome reading deficiencies of children.

The "Read and Rise" program will run from 1-1:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through Oct. 28, officials said.

The program is virtual and designed for parents with children ages 2-8. Officials said it will help parents guide their children's literacy.
