PASCO — The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for South-Central Washington from Thursday morning through Saturday evening.

Meteorologists are predicting the high temperature to reach 102 by Friday and 105 on Saturday, before dropping back to the 90s next week.

Around the region, the high temperature could exceed 107, meteorologists said. Overnight lows will stay in the 70s.
