New tuition-free preschool to open in Pasco

PASCO — Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is partnering with the city Housing Authority and Franklin County to open a tuition-free preschool here next year.

The Bezos Academy would be the first tuition-free preschool in the Tri-Cities, officials said.

The program will provide full-day, year-around Montessori education for low-income families, officials said.
