Man injured in car-deer collision

CONNELL — A Pasco man was injured in an early morning collision with a deer.

Edward L. Trowbridge, 47, was taken to a Richland hospital for treatment of injuries related to the 4:50 a.m. crash on U.S. Highway 395, about a mile south of the city.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Trowbridge was northbound on the highway in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata when he hit a deer in the roadway near Milepost 54.

Trowbridge was wearing a seatbelt; neither drugs nor alcohol was a factor in the crash, the patrol reported.

His car was removed from the scene by Mesa Crossroads Towing.
