Washtucna to host forum on four-day school week

WASHTUCNA —  The School District will host a second public forum to discuss a possible move to a four-day school week at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 in the school gymnasium, 730 N.E. Boone St.

The public forum will be followed by the regular School Board meeting at 7 p.m.

Spokeswoman Lora Hille said the meeting will be informational with opportunities for input and to have questions answered.

Prior the the coronavirus outbreak, only the Bickleton School District in Klickitat County instituted a standard four-day educational week.
