Rivercrest development approved

PASCO – A plan to build 74 new homes on lots averaging more than an acre was approved by Franklin County commissioners unanimously this morning, April 13.

The Rivercrest development is planned for 180 acres east of Columbia River Road and south of Sagemoor Road, west of active farmland.

Commissioners discussed the matter in a closed-hearing, meaning no new information was allowed during the meeting.

Commissioners voiced concern about the development's proximity to a nearby irrigation canal.
