Illegal pot grow removed from Burbank area

BURBANK - The Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office last week removed an illegal marijuana grow here.

The agency was assisted by the Washington State Patrol Marijuana Eradication team with removing more than 50 illegal plants, the Sheriff's Office reported tdoay, Aug. 12on social media.

"Not only was the grow operation non-permitted, but the growers were trespassing and stealing irrigation water," the agency said on social media.

Another large illegal grow as located two weeks ago southwest of Davenport.
