The dive rescue team, in partnership with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, recovered the body of Rojello Saldana, 21, of Touchet, as well as the boat June 1.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Saldana was fishing with another man and a woman in a boat on the Palouse River when a storm rolled in.

At 7:39 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the area where two survivors had made it to shore, a report said.

Dive rescue team members searched for Saldana, but with rough water, high winds and lightning, he could not be found.

His body was recovered the next day, a report said.
