The Franklin Connection is an online news and sports site dedicated to Franklin County, Wash., and the surrounding communities. We offer news, marketing, advertising and online services to the residents of Pasco, Basin City, Mesa, Eltopia, Connell, Kahlotus and Burbank. A division of Free Press Publishing, Inc., the Connection website was launched June 1, 2020, at the request of Franklin County residents looking for more coverage of the area, agriculture, prep sports and more.
The Connection's parent company owns and operates nine publications and four other webpages serving rural Eastern Washington's "wheat country," including Adams, Lincoln, Spokane and Whitman Counties. Free Press Publishing is owned and operated by Bill Ifft and Roger Harnack.
